Pavers, built the Alliance way

Wobbly walkways, weed-filled joints, or bare yard you cannot use? We install interlocking paver surfaces engineered on a compacted base to stay flat and tight for decades.

Premium Paver Installation Across Central Florida

Are you walking on a wobbly front path, watching weeds take over the joints of a courtyard you paid good money for, or looking at a bare stretch of yard you have never been able to use? Loose, sunken, and weed-choked surfaces are almost never a paver problem — they are a foundation problem, and no amount of surface work will fix what is failing underneath. Alliance Pavers is ready to walk your property and build an interlocking surface that stays flat and tight for decades.

We have been laying pavers out of St. Cloud since 2007, and we work across Central Florida every week — courtyards in Winter Garden, walkways in Orlando, commercial plazas out toward Lakeland. Our sandy soil drains fast and shifts under load, and our summer storms will find every drainage mistake a builder made. That is why we engineer the layers you never see before we ever set a stone you do.

Paver Installation

A professional paver installation is a structural build, not a decorating job — the surface only performs as well as the compacted base beneath it.

When we get called out to price a new walkway, courtyard, or entry, the failures we are asked to replace almost always trace back to the same shortcut: someone screeded sand over unprepared ground and started laying stone. On Central Florida sand that guarantees movement. Within a season or two the field starts to rock underfoot, joints open wide enough to grow weeds, and the edges creep outward because nothing is holding the perimeter. The anatomy of a paver surface is mostly invisible — subgrade, compacted aggregate, bedding layer, edge restraint, compacted joint sand.

What a proper installation includes:

  • An initial consultation with a detailed estimate before any commitment
  • Design planning — pattern, paver shape, and colour scheme chosen for the space
  • Excavation and a graded, compacted foundation built for stability and drainage
  • Skilled placement and levelling for a clean, consistent finish edge to edge
  • Joint filling, concrete edge restraints, and a spotless cleanup when we leave

Residential Paver Services

Most of what we build is for homeowners, and most of those projects start with one tired surface and grow into a plan for the whole exterior.

A cracked walkway is rarely the only thing bothering you. Once we are on site we usually find the entry, the side yard, and the back patio all aging at the same rate, because they were poured at the same time by the same crew. Handling them as one project means one mobilisation, one consistent material palette, and grading that actually works as a system instead of three surfaces pushing water at each other. It also means you are not repeating the same conversation with a new contractor next spring.

Commercial Paver Services

Commercial paver work is a different engineering problem: heavier loads, accessibility requirements, and a surface that cannot be closed for a week.

Builders, HOAs, and property managers call us for entries, plazas, and walkways that take constant foot traffic and occasional vehicle loads. Those surfaces need a deeper, denser base than a backyard patio, edge detailing that survives being driven over, and a phasing plan that keeps the property usable while we work. We stage material, sequence the build around access, and keep the site clean because your tenants and customers are walking past it every day.

What Separates a 25-Year Surface From a 5-Year One

Two paver surfaces can look identical the week they are finished and be in completely different condition three summers later. The difference is never the stone.

  • Compaction in lifts. Base material compacted in layers holds its shape under load; base dumped and levelled in one pass settles unevenly and takes the surface with it.
  • Grading before beauty. Slope gets planned first so water leaves the surface and moves away from your foundation, rather than ponding in the low spot it found on its own.
  • Real edge restraint. A secured perimeter is what stops a paver field from creeping outward and opening joints under traffic.
  • Compacted joint sand. Properly swept and compacted joints lock the field into one flexible mat and keep weeds from taking root.
  • Maintenance that actually happens. Periodic cleaning and resealing protect colour and joints — see paver maintenance for what that looks like.

None of those are material upgrades. They are installation decisions, which is why the contractor matters more than the brand of paver.

Complete Your Central Florida Exterior

Paver work rarely stops at one surface. If the walkway is being rebuilt, the driveway it connects to is often the same age, and the patio out back usually is too. Pool areas get their own treatment under pool decks, grade changes are handled with retaining walls, and the whole plan can come together as one build under hardscaping.

Common Questions

Pavers FAQs

01 What types of pavers do you offer?

We install a wide selection of pavers including concrete, brick, natural stone, and permeable options. Each is available in various shapes and finishes to suit your design preferences.

02 Can you repair existing paver surfaces?

Yes. We offer full paver repair and maintenance services, including leveling, re-sanding, and sealing to restore appearance and function.

03 How long does paver installation take?

Most residential projects are completed in 3–7 days, depending on the size and complexity of the design.
